Marilee is a sonic storyteller and multi-disciplinary artist with over two decades of shaping the soundscapes of film and television, performing and writing music, photographing, and creating. As the founder of The Foley Room Inc. in Toronto, she crafts immersive, emotionally resonant audio experiences for creators worldwide. Trained by Canada’s leading Foley artists, her intuitive approach to post-production has garnered accolades from both the Emmy Awards and Canadian Screen Awards. Whether capturing the whisper of footsteps or the chaos of battle, Marilee brings a signature blend of artistry and precision that has made her a trusted name in international sound design.

I am a writer, musician, photographer, and multi-disciplinary artist. Once, I made $3.00 American on an article that I wrote about love. I care a lot about getting to be creative and about the people who love me and I do my best to respect the process.
